This cocktail was inspired by one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area called La CosteƱa near Half Moon Bay. This is an amazing Peruvian restaurants with excellent Latin inspired cocktails. I modified their Smokey Carlitos with my own touch and named it after my beautiful son.

  • 2 oz Mezcal (I recommend Vida)
  • 1/2 oz Pomegranate Juice
  • 1/2 oz Lime Juice
  • 1/4 oz Agave Nectar
  • 2 dashes of Angostura Orange Bitters
  • Optional: Garnish with Pomegranate berries or an Orange peel
