This recipe contains one of my favorite liqueurs of all time that I consider my secret ingredient to a killer margarita. You can play around with how much Ancho Reyes you add depending on your liking. The more you add, the more smokiness and spiciness you get.

  • 1.5 oz Tequila Blanco
  • 1 oz. Lime/Lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz Ancho Reyes liqueur
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup (or Agave Nectar)
  • Optional: Rim with Kosher Salt and add a lime wheel
