It would be a shame to mix in my Margarita recipes along with all of my other cocktails because these deserve their own special recognition. There is nothing more delicious and more Mexican than a well crafted Margarita.
In nearly all my Margarita recipes I prefer to use only fresh lemon or limes (ideally a mix of both) and never…ever ever ever…use an off the shelf Margarita mix. And although I absolutely love Cointreau as the Triple Sec, I typically substitute with Orange Curacao which gives the margaritas a less sweet taste. Whatever you do, avoid generic Triple Sec if possible.
